I began this work in the Autumn of 2021, sitting on a log across the field from the depicted shed and brightly colored trees. Having noticed the sight repeatedly while driving past, I knew I had to sit down with my paints. My fingers could only take the cold for so long, and the painting remained on my bulletin board untouched until this September when I decided to complete it.
